Spring and Summer in Tremblant

An active or relaxing summer vacation - the choice is yours

Tremblant and southern Quebec enjoys beautiful hot and sunny summers. This makes the area an ideal destination for your summer vacation. So, if it’s sport and other outdoor activities that you want, look no further. But if you just want to relax in the forest, or by the lakes and rivers, this is also your haven.

There are several white water rafting companies operating on the nearby Devil’s River and Red River. Traditional Canadian canoeing and kayaking is available on these rivers also, Lac Tremblant, within Mont Tremblant National Park and on many other lakes. Cycle hire is plentiful and cheap, and there are many cycle trails including the ‘Petit Train du Nord’ a 200km long cycle trail on a converted rail line.

In addition to the pool complex on site and close to the cabin, you can also swim in many of the lakes, including Lac Superieur near the cabin, and there is an indoor pool complex in the resort village. Sailing, windsurfing and other water sports are available on Lac Tremblant and you can even take a seaplane trip from Lac Quimet. As well as the tennis court for residents on site there are other tennis courts throughout the area including Gray Rocks resort and the main Tremblant resort. You can also go horse riding with several companies in the area through forests, rivers and in the National Park

If you have a more sedate trip in mind try relaxing on the beaches by Lac Tremblant, on Lac Superieur itself, or one of the very quiet lakeside beaches in the National Park. You could go hiking on the mountain and forest trails, then relax in Spa Scandinave, a high quality Spa complex nearby.

Many of these activities are listed with contact details and web liinks below.
