Location
The log cabin home is set in it’s own one-acre maple forest site on a
private
road that runs a short distance from the shore of Lac Superieur, near
Mont Tremblant. The lake and village of Lac Superieur is to the
north-east of the mountain of Mont Tremblant – commonly known as the
‘North Side. To find exactly where we are use this link to the MAP below.
Whilst there is a wide range of
on-site amenities, this is also an excellent location to enjoy all that
the Mont Tremblant area has to offer. To fully enjoy the region a car
is essential:

door from Montreal Trudeau International Airport

Leisure amenities on-site
Pool
complex: Only 500 yards from the cabin a 50ft swimming
pool and
spa pool are provided for the sole use of the guests from the cabins.
The complex also has on-site showers and changing rooms and a pleasant
decking area where you can soak up the sun in between swims.
Tennis:
Right next to the pool is a tennis court for guests and basketball rings
Lac Superieur:
Residents also have
access
to the lake via a private beach and jetty next
to the Auberge Caribou. You can use canoes that are reserved for
guests. Swimming is very
safe and surprisingly warm in summer. You can also fish. Beside the
beach is a small children’s
playground and further lake frontage.
River walks:
Residents have access to the Boule River where you can walk through the
forest to a small river beach and enjoy the gentle waterfalls
Top class
restaurant:
The Caribou Restaurant has an excellent reputation, with a wide variety
of imaginative dishes to suit any taste. Bookings are recommended at
weekends. You can sit outside and dine overlooking the lake at sunset.
Club Bar:
The bar in the Auberge Caribou serves as a clubhouse and meeting place
for guests. With friendly service, a roaring fire in winter,
comfortable seating and lake views this can be your second home on
vacation!

Other local services
A short walk from the Auberge is a local store and gas station which
stocks a wide range of essentials, good wines and beer. For larger
supermarkets travel 10-15 minutes to St. Jovite. This is the main
commercial centre where you will also find banks, hardware, fishing
tackle, clothes and many restaurants.
For
more restaurants and bars and a range of gift and boutique clothes
shops visit the ski resort, which is also a bustling summer resort too.
Just 15 minutes round the other side of the mountain.
